What will the dogs be doing on the stroll?

As with all things we do at The Good Pup, the priority is for the dogs to be comfortable and have an enjoyable time seeing, sniffing and strolling. Frequent breaks will be implemented to ensure the comfort of all dogs. It’s about the journey and company, not the destination :) Location is weather dependent and will be decided on the day itself.

What is the schedule for the day?

The schedule will be as per normal for dogs who do not sign up for the stroll. For those who do, the schedule will be the same as well, except that we’ll be out for the stroll from around 10am-12pm and the first enrichment session will be skipped.

Are all dogs suitable for this stroll?

All dogs have different fitness levels and not all dogs are suitable to be outdoors for a long duration especially with Singapore’s heat and humidity. If your dog is physically unfit, reactive, easily overwhelmed outdoors or is a high flight risk, do not sign up your dog for this stroll.

What safety precautions will be implemented?

• Secure walking gear: Owners will need to ensure their dog is on a secure harness/collar and leash. On our end, we will be placing an additional slip collar on your dog as a safety precaution.

• Breaks: We will take a break every now and then to ensure all dogs are well and hydrated. We will also keep an eye on all dogs during the walk. At any point in time we notice any dog who is not able to keep up, we will pause the walk and take a break.

• Shaded walk: We will try our best to choose routes which are mostly shaded.

Will my dog get dirty from the walk?

We will give the dogs a wipe down after the stroll but cannot guarantee the dog’s full cleanliness or that they will be odour-free.

What is the wet weather plan?

The stroll might be cancelled depending on the rain intensity.

Can I sign up for just the stroll and not daycare?

The stroll is for our daycare pups only.
